About The Position
We are looking for hands-on individuals to operate multiple robotics platforms and collect high-quality raw data through various collection methods, including teleoperation via VR headsets (Apple VisionPro) and motion capture systems (suits and gloves). The candidate will collect data on our specific robotic platforms via teleoperation with a vision pro, collect data in a motion capture setup, doing tasks with their own hands, and perform some simple annotations and quality control on the data they collect.
Requirements
- Experience running basic commands on a terminal
- Good attention to detail
- Generally good coordination skills/dexterity
- General strength/health to collect data for a few hours in a row (breaks are encouraged, but it can still be tiring)
- Good vision (doesn't need glasses) or can wear contacts (in order to operate the Vision Pro)
Nice To Haves
- Software familiarity
- Experience operating robots
- Experience with data collection or annotations
