About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues, escalating when necessary. You will create and maintain documentation on technologies you support and convey SOPs to junior staff. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support and can innovate and make decisions independently, while also taking direction and paying attention to details. You are able to execute small projects independently and work with your manager on larger local projects, acting as an escalation point for junior technicians.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
  • 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
  • US citizen

Responsibilities
