About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining data center operations to ensure the availability and reliability of service levels. The role involves conducting hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, performing root cause analysis of hardware and software failures, and providing technical support to data center teams. Additionally, the technician will be involved in the training of internal teams, development of documentation, and creation of scripts to update server and networking hardware. Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory, assembling and installing equipment, and performing maintenance on test and tools equipment. Occasional travel to other data centers may be required.

Requirements

Data center experience
Rack and stack experience
Troubleshooting skills
Cabling experience
Computer Hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
Linux Operating System experience
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and/or work in elevated locations
Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
