About The Position

We are hiring experienced Data Center Technicians (L2-L4) to support one of the world's most advanced data center environments in Saline, Michigan. This position offers the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale server infrastructure, cutting-edge hardware, fiber optic networks, and large-scale deployment projects supporting critical cloud and AI technologies. If you have experience with data center operations, break/fix troubleshooting, server deployments, structured cabling, or hardware maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Data Center Technician II: 1+ year of data center, hardware, IT support, or network infrastructure experience
  • Familiarity with servers, cabling, hardware upgrades, or troubleshooting
  • Experience working with hand tools and basic testing equipment
  • Data Center Technician III: 3+ years of data center experience
  • Strong server break/fix and deployment experience
  • Experience troubleshooting fiber and network connectivity issues
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex hardware issues
  • Data Center Technician IV: 5+ years of enterprise data center experience
  • Advanced troubleshooting and data center operational knowledge
  • Strong understanding of server hardware and infrastructure best practices

  • Experience leading projects, coordinating deployments, or mentoring technicians preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair enterprise server and networking hardware
  • Perform hardware break/fix including RAM, CPUs, NICs, SSDs/HDDs, power supplies, fans, and other server components
  • Rack, stack, cable, install, and decommission servers and network devices
  • Run, label, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling
  • Execute hardware upgrades, moves, additions, and changes within a live production environment
  • Support large-scale server deployment and infrastructure expansion projects
  • Utilize ticketing systems to document work and track incidents
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and operational health checks
  • Follow established safety, security, and operational procedures
