About The Position

Supports hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes. Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
  • Prior experience with LINUX and/or Microsoft products, and Windows based systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new terms and technologies
  • Strong time management skills
  • Personal punctuality and dependable job attendance
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Must have average organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work a regularly scheduled Night shift operations shift (5:30pm – 5:30am) 7 days on 7 off.
  • Operate all SG computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained
  • Log routine activities and report or promptly escalate problems to management for resolution
  • Ability to work with SG field service staff, members of retailer base and Lottery staffs to troubleshoot and resolve different situations
  • Other duties as assigned
