About The Position

This is an entry-level technician (helper) role for a data center. The hiring manager is seeking trainable individuals with a history of working in physically demanding jobs. Key attributes for this role include a strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and crucial attendance. The position offers significant growth opportunities, with the potential to become a leader and eventually a full-time employee (FTE) once headcount becomes available. This is a long-term contract role.

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment
• Use a computer to document locations/part numbers
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
