About The Position

We are seeking Data Center Support / Operations Engineers for a long-term engagement with a leading client in Santa Clara, CA. This is an on-site position requiring physical presence five days a week and availability during nighttime hours (PST). This role demands a hands-on professional with proven experience in managing both physical and virtual infrastructure within enterprise-grade and edge data centers. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in server/network hardware, cabling, cooling, and remote hands support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in data center operations.
• Strong familiarity with: Data center hardware (servers, network appliances)
• Network infrastructure (Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto)
• Cabling, power, and cooling systems
• Ability to work independently during night shifts (PST).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills with native or bilingual proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support data center operations, including both physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot server and network hardware, including: Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto
• Handle structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling systems.
• Provide remote hands support as needed for data center activities.
• Ensure uptime, capacity scaling, and secure access controls.
• Maintain strict adherence to operational standards and protocols across enterprise and edge environments.
