About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Shift Lead Technician to oversee field crews and manage daily production on a data center project. The ideal candidate must have hands-on data center experience and previous lead experience, with the ability to direct technicians, manage workflow, and ensure the project stays on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous data center experience required.
• Previous Lead Technician or Lead experience required.
• Strong understanding of data center construction and low voltage/structured cabling environments.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, cut sheets, and project scopes.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage daily workflow.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced data center environment and keep crews on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the field crew and daily production activities.
• Review cut sheets, drawings, and project scopes with technicians.
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to field technicians.
• Track crew progress and ensure work remains on schedule.
• Coordinate with site management and project leadership.
• Identify and address field issues as they arise.
• Ensure installations are completed according to project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards throughout the project.
• Provide direction and support to technicians in the field.
