About The Position

Securitas is hiring Security Officers/Data Center Security Officers for full-time and part-time positions. Officers provide security services at a data center and are expected to assess situations, monitor their surroundings, follow protocols, and provide customer service as a point of contact. Available shifts are 2nd shift, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and 3rd shift, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. Employees must work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday, and be available for weekend shifts. Pay is $18 or more per hour, with weekly pay. A hiring event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at WorkOne Michigan City, 317 Detroit St, Michigan City, IN 46360.

Requirements

• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be over the age of 18.
• Be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
• Be available to work weekend shifts, including at least one Saturday or Sunday shift.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, attentiveness, ability to follow instructions, customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.
