About The Position

This role involves collaborating closely with the preconstruction manager, project managers, engineers, superintendents, contractors, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through engineering and construction. The Data Center Scheduler will ensure both short-term and long-term project objectives are achieved by creating and managing schedule logic, constraints, realistic activity durations, and resource availability. This position requires evaluating the effects of design changes and schedule delays, and communicating all schedule updates to company management and clients. The role also involves engaging in challenging discussions with the entire project team, including the Owner, General Contractor, AE, Subcontractors, and Suppliers, and may include client interaction, regular meetings, and presenting statistical reports. Performance monitoring through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary, and integrating detailed fragments with necessary sequencing adjustments are key. The role also emphasizes continuously seeking ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies.

Requirements

  • Five (5) + years of related scheduling work experience.
  • Experience scheduling $50M+ projects in sectors like general construction, electrical construction, manufacturing construction, technology or infrastructure (utilities, communication, buildings or energy) industries.

Responsibilities
