About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Data Center Sales Executive to develop and grow our presence within the Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) and Colocation market. This role will focus on selling low-voltage and mission-critical infrastructure solutions including structured cabling, fiber optics, security, DAS, AV, and related systems for new builds, expansions, and retrofits. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the data center ecosystem, proven relationships with owners, developers, operators, and GCs, and the ability to navigate complex, long-cycle sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in: Low-voltage integration, data center infrastructure, or mission-critical construction
  • Demonstrated success selling into data center or critical facilities environments
  • Strong understanding of: Data center build cycles and procurement processes GC / EPC and design consultant relationships
  • Proven ability to manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel regionally as required

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with MTDC or colocation providers
  • Experience working with hyperscale-adjacent or enterprise data center clients
  • Familiarity with data center standards and best practices (TIA, BICSI, Uptime Institute concepts, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within MTDC and colocation environments
  • Develop and execute a territory and account strategy focused on data center owners, developers, operators, EPCs, and general contractors
  • Drive opportunities from early design/specification through construction and close-out
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue, margin, and booking targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with: Data center owners and operators Developers and real estate groups General contractors and design-build firms Engineering consultants and technology partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client operational, scalability, redundancy, and uptime requirements
  • Work closely with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to develop competitive, compliant solutions
  • Participate in design discussions to influence specifications toward company offerings
  • Present technical and commercial proposals, value engineering options, and ROI-driven solutions
  • Stay current on data center trends, including hyperscale vs. colo, modular builds, AI workloads, redundancy standards, and emerging technologies
  • Track competitors, pricing trends, and market shifts to inform sales strategy
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy
