About The Position

The Regional Manager is responsible for the timely and profitable completion of assigned projects. This entails management of their team members and implementation of strategies to help reach maximum productivity. This position also supports telecom, data center, and connectivity infrastructure work where applicable, including mission-critical environments, fiber and network infrastructure, structured cabling, outside plant, inside plant, customer site coordination, and schedule-driven project execution.

Requirements

  • High School education or GED
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the construction industry, including 3 years in leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of business and industry
  • Deep understanding of job-related financial reports and cost to complete
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills – proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Conceptual/Systems Thinking: Recognizes patterns, trends, themes, and connections in information to develop innovative ideas and solutions
  • Constructive Engagement: Express his or her ideas and disagreements, constructively resolves conflict, and encourages others to do the same

  • Experience leading or supporting fiber, structured cabling, outside plant, inside plant, network deployment, customer site work, or mission-critical infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a strong team that assists with the successful execution of company objectives
  • Works collaboratively with customers to define value-add activities and ensure their needs are being met
  • Direct oversight, training, and development of Project Managers
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly forecasts of revenue and cost at completion for review by Regional VP
  • Actively participate in job review meetings and communicate field schedules, issues, and concerns
  • Manage internal working relationships; identify and address conflict
  • Develop project estimates and create budgets
  • Communicate production, quality, and administrative expectations to field operations staff
  • Improve personal, technical, and supervisory skills through personal development plans and offered trainings
  • Represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Purchasing, reporting, and approval authority as defined in MP Authority Matrix
  • Enforce all Company, OSHA and other applicable procedures and standards
  • Safety training as required by position
