Requirements
- 2-5 years of data center installation experience
- Experience installing server cabinets and network equipment
- Ability to interpret rack elevations and installation drawings
- Familiarity with structured cabling practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Dell, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE, or Supermicro equipment
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience in hyperscale environments
- Experience with Rack and Stack
- Experienced Server Installer
- Experience with Network equipment installation, cable and asset management
- Experience with Documentation and Quality Assurance
Responsibilities
- Installing, assembling, and deploying server cabinets, network equipment, and associated infrastructure within hyperscale data centers.
- Supporting new construction, expansion projects, and hardware refresh initiatives while ensuring all installations meet customer quality standards.
- Install server racks, cabinets, and enclosures
- Mount servers, switches, routers, storage devices, and PDUs
- Install cable management systems and rack accessories
- Route and dress copper and fiber patch cables
- Label equipment and network connections according to customer standards
- Perform equipment inventory and asset tracking
- Replace and upgrade server hardware as required
- Follow rack elevation drawings and installation documentation
- Assist with equipment commissioning and turnover
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Adhere to all customer safety and quality procedures
