About The Position

AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Managers to work on site in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves leading a team of inspectors to review construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with contract requirements. The position requires maintaining logs of defects, non-conformances, and open issues, as well as monitoring contractor quality programs. The Data Center Quality Assurance Manager will notify the client of test failures, plan corrective actions, and oversee punchlist completion and zero-defect walkthroughs. Critical issues are to be reported to the Construction Management Lead for resolution. The role also involves contributing to project reports, serving as a direct point of contact for the Owner to ensure successful project execution and communication, and summarizing significant test results. Responsibilities include verifying test schedules, witnessing tests, checking results, overseeing retesting, and retaining test records. Maintaining professionalism in attire and communication is essential, as is representing the Client in alignment with contract requirements. Periodic site visits for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking are required, along with coordinating client outage/shutdown procedures.

Requirements

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management
CQM or other professional certifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead team of inspectors reviewing the construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with the requirements of the construction contracts.
Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
Monitor the contractors’ quality program for conformance to the plan throughout the course of construction.
Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
Reports critical issues to the Construction Management Lead and provides proper resolution.
Provides in put for weekly project reports and monthly progress reports.
Serves as the direct point of contact for the Owner, ensuring successful project execution and communication.
Summarizing significant test results in progress reports.
Verifying that tests are conducted as scheduled, witnessing selected tests, checking test results, if required, overseeing retesting, and retaining test records.
Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings.
Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.
Conducts periodic site visits for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking.
Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure.
