This role involves leading mission-critical projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and technical requirements, and serving as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams. The Data Center Project Manager will manage key project processes, oversee schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, ensure compliance with data center standards, write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and resolve issues to keep projects on track. The goal is to deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list and comprehensive handoff, while representing Granger’s values of trust, integrity, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with the tenacity to solve challenges and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing data center or mission-critical projects
  • Familiarity with construction-specific software like Procore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems, commissioning, and redundancy requirements.
  • Emotional intelligence to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • A builder’s mindset with a focus on innovative, client-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mission-critical projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and technical requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage key project processes, including RFIs, submittmits, schedules, and cost tracking.
  • Oversee project schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, and ensure compliance with data center standards and commissioning protocols.
  • Write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list goal and comprehensive handoff.
  • Represent Granger’s values of trust, integrity, and teamwork in all interactions.
