About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure projects throughout the Richmond area. This individual will be responsible for overseeing field operations, managing crews, coordinating project activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines project administration with active field engagement. The ideal candidate enjoys being on-site, working closely with technicians and customers, and driving projects forward from planning through completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the rapidly expanding data center and telecommunications industry.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, electrical, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading field crews and managing day-to-day project activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective safety and production meetings.
  • Understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Experience working alongside multiple trades on active construction sites.
  • Comfortable working in both field and administrative environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage telecommunications, structured cabling, DAS, and low-voltage construction projects.
  • Lead and support field teams to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily coordination meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain daily reports, project logs, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
  • Monitor production, labor utilization, and project progress.
  • Address field challenges and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.
  • Participate in customer-facing meetings and provide project updates.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
