About The Position

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As The Data Center Permitting Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing the permitting strategy, pre and post site acquisition to support data center development in new and existing jurisdictions. You will drive alignment with internal stakeholders as well as authorities having jurisdiction and other external stakeholders to programmatically minimize permitting risk and expedite permitting durations for data center construction project delivery. You will also be accountable for managing and tracking permitting delivery metrics across the region and providing guidance to the regional Data Center Delivery and Engineering teams. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
