This is an opportunity to work hands-on with the critical infrastructure that keeps a 24/7 data center running reliably, safely, and efficiently. You’ll build your technical skills across electrical and mechanical systems while learning alongside experienced technicians and engineers in a mission-critical environment. Training will take place Monday through Friday on the day shift. Following training, the standard work schedule transitions to a 12-hour, rotating 4-3-3 -4 schedule. Employees rotate approximately every 16 weeks between day shift (6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) and night shift (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.), working every Wednesday with alternating Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays and Mondays off. Sabey Data Centers is a premier multi-tenant data center provider, setting the standard for operational excellence, efficiency, and sustained uptime. Their cutting-edge facilities support top-tier financial institutions, technology giants, media powerhouses, and healthcare leaders, delivering unparalleled reliability, security, and scalability. By prioritizing sustainability and innovation, Sabey Data Centers continues to shape the digital infrastructure of the future. SDC is one of the few companies in the industry that both builds and operates its own facilities, giving employees a unique end-to-end view of the data center world. We foster a culture where people who are humble, hungry, and smart are truly valued, supported, and promoted from within. Sabey is deeply committed to being a responsible community partner, returning unused energy to grids and collaborating with local utilities for sustainable impact. While competitors may offer higher salaries, few can match Sabey's positive culture, purpose-driven mission, and long-term career growth opportunities. As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will help support the day-to-day operation of a 24/7 facility featuring state-of-the-art redundant power and environmental systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining mission-critical infrastructure, monitoring building systems, responding to alarms, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting preventive maintenance and upgrades. This role is a strong fit for someone with general maintenance experience, technical curiosity, and a desire to build a career in data center operations. You’ll work independently and alongside senior technicians, engineers, vendors, and contractors while developing your knowledge of the systems and practices to keep a high-performance data center operating around the clock.
