About The Position

As part of Meta’s Fleet Operations, Reliability and Central Engineering (FORCE) team, the Data Center Lead (DCL) leads Data Center Technicians responsible for server and network break/fix at a Meta data center site. Reporting to a Fleet Operations Manager (FOM), the DCL owns team performance, coverage, and development and serves as the team’s operational escalation point. The role supports a 24/7 operation and includes responsibility for site shift schedules, weekend and on-call rotations, coverage, work allocation, incident response, and technician proficiency. The DCL also communicates organizational priorities, represents the site team in leadership and cross-functional forums, and coaches technicians on responsible AI use.
