About The Position

This is a Data Center Technician role supporting an AI data center build in Amarillo, TX. These positions are part of an initial proof-of-value project, with the potential to convert to contract-to-hire based on performance and project outcomes. The Data Center Field Installations Technician (L1) is an entry-level technical role responsible for executing standardized in-rack installation activities within a data center environment. This includes rack builds, equipment racking and stacking, structured cabling, power connections, and cooling setup tasks (DX and direct-to-chip liquid cooling). This role provides hands-on support for deployment activities by following established procedures, checklists, and technical standards to ensure consistent, high-quality installations. Through accurate execution of installation tasks and adherence to defined processes, this role contributes to timely project delivery and minimizes rework or operational risk.
