About The Position
Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Technician We are seeking an OSP Fiber Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and expansion of enterprise fiber optic infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fiber optics, structured cabling, telecommunications, construction, and field operations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fiber optics and construction practices.
- Understanding of structured cabling in enterprise environments.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic cabling and related infrastructure.
- Support network expansion projects, including conduit and cabling installations.
- Conduct site surveys, maintain documentation, and update network records.
- Monitor network performance and assist with outage response and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors on infrastructure projects.
