Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
2+ years related work experience
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to work different schedules.
Must be able to work Holidays.
Must be able to respond to site emergencies.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility, including UPS Systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
Corrigo Experience.
MCIM / Salesforce Experience.
Service Now Experience.
Received EPA 608.
Trained in NFPA70E.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time, including fire/life safety, mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, CRAC, CRAH, plumbing, controls), electrical systems (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
Monitoring operation, adjusting, and maintaining refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
Recording readings and making adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Analyzing the operation of various systems, determining the cause of problems/malfunctions, and taking corrective action.
Complying with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Learning and understanding the data center site to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.
Managing work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures.
Performing additional job duties as required.
