Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years related work experience
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be able to work different schedules.
  • Must be able to work Holidays.
  • Must be able to respond to site emergencies.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility, including UPS Systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
  • Corrigo Experience.
  • MCIM / Salesforce Experience.
  • Service Now Experience.
  • Received EPA 608.
  • Trained in NFPA70E.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time, including fire/life safety, mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, CRAC, CRAH, plumbing, controls), electrical systems (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
  • Monitoring operation, adjusting, and maintaining refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Recording readings and making adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Analyzing the operation of various systems, determining the cause of problems/malfunctions, and taking corrective action.
  • Complying with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
  • Learning and understanding the data center site to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.
  • Managing work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
  • Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures.
  • Performing additional job duties as required.
