We are seeking a Data Center Engineer - Mid to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Data Center Engineer - Mid independently installs, configures, and maintains infrastructure, performs troubleshooting of hardware, connectivity, and system issues, supports system integration, patching, and upgrades, maintains CMDB and asset accountability, coordinates with engineering, systems, network, and cyber teams, works independently on standard tasks, and may mentor junior staff. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 certifications:
  • Security+ CE
  • CySA+
  • ITIL 4 Foundation

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional (or intermediate ITIL certs)
  • Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP
  • VMware VCP
  • PMP or CAPM

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Perform rack and stack, structured cabling (copper/fiber), and equipment integration.
  • Execute system imaging, patching, upgrades, and hardware replacement.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and hardware failures.
  • Monitor system health, alerts, and environmental conditions.
  • Maintain asset accountability and update configuration management systems (CMDB).
  • Apply cybersecurity controls, including STIG compliance and patch management.
  • Support incident response, outage coordination, and maintenance activities.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with operational standards.
  • May include shift work, on-call support, and off-hours maintenance.
