AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the cloud runs smoothly. This involves supporting all AWS data centers and the associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The team tackles complex challenges within the supply chain and seeks talented individuals to contribute. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating across AWS to uphold high standards of safety and security while delivering immense capacity at the lowest cost. As a member of the AWS Controls Team, you will collaborate with highly motivated experts and innovators in the data center industry. Your responsibilities will include innovating, deploying, optimizing, and maintaining the automation systems within data centers, specifically focusing on Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). You will leverage Amazon leadership principles to develop new processes and standards while driving innovation in the controls domain. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or technology, enabling them to manage sophisticated controls platforms. A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically, aligning building controls and automation with broader business objectives, is essential. This role requires a valid driver's license and involves domestic and international travel of at least 25% of the time.
