AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This team is responsible for keeping the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and the associated equipment (servers, storage, networking, power, cooling) to ensure continuous customer access to innovation. The role involves working on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. The team is diverse, comprising software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security, providing infinite capacity at the lowest cost. As a Data Center Construction Manager, you will be part of a creative, diverse team solving problems in constructing Amazon Data Centers, which are industry-leading examples of energy-efficient, cost-effective designs. You will work with partner teams like Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support customers. This role involves building complex electrical and mechanical systems, being on the construction site daily as Amazon’s owner’s representative, and directly driving cost, schedule, and quality while managing construction vendors and contractors.
