About The Position

As a Cable Installer, you'll work alongside experienced technicians building out network infrastructure inside a large-scale data center environment. This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of New Albany, OH, with a duration of 6 months and potential for permanent hire. The role involves working Monday-Saturday, with a 10-hour day schedule, and requires openness to either 1st or 2nd shift. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Pulling, dressing, and labeling Cat5e and Cat6 cabling
• Assisting with structured cabling installations
• Learning RJ45 terminations and patch panel installations
• Performing basic punch-downs on telecommunications systems
• Assisting with cable testing using Fluke and EXFO equipment
• Supporting fiber cable routing and cable management
• Installing and organizing cable pathways and infrastructure
• Following safety procedures and site requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Working closely with senior technicians and project leads
