Requirements

Cable installation experience or strong interest in learning telecommunications.
Knowledge of structured cabling environments.
Experience with cable pulling, routing, and termination.
Familiarity with punch-down techniques.
Ability to use basic hand tools and follow installation standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED.
Telecommunications, networking, or low-voltage experience.
Familiarity with routers, switches, VoIP, PBX systems, or network protocols.
Technical certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and test telecommunications cabling systems.
Pull and route Cat5, Cat6, and other structured cabling.
Perform punch-downs and cable terminations.
Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues.
Support the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work.
Follow safety procedures and industry best practices on all job sites.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.
