About The Position

This role focuses on installing, decommissioning, and maintaining network and cabling infrastructure within data center environments. Responsibilities include working with copper and fiber cabling, network equipment, and testing tools while following safety, quality, and industry standards. The position requires reading blueprints, coordinating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and maintaining clean, well-documented work areas. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling, telecommunications tools, cable testing and troubleshooting, fiber splicing, and labeling. They must be able to perform installations such as ladder racking and seismic bracing, support live service swaps, and manage documentation and customer deliverables. Physical ability to lift equipment, pull cable, climb ladders, and work for extended periods on-site in data centers is required. We're interested in entry level candidates like machine operators/technicians. Data Center experience is nice-to-have, but not required. Must have or willing to obtain OSHA 10 and scissor lift certifcation.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling.
  • Experience with telecommunications tools.
  • Experience with cable testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with fiber splicing.
  • Experience with labeling.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment, pull cable, climb ladders, and work for extended periods on-site in data centers.
  • OSHA 10 certification (must have or willing to obtain).
  • Scissor lift certification (must have or willing to obtain).
