We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Business Analyst with strong experience in SQL, data mapping, and systems integration to support data migration and integration initiatives across our platforms. This role will contribute directly to both real-time and batch-mode integrations and will play a critical role in validating the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated and integrated data through structured testing and reporting. All candidates will be required to complete at least one in-person interview as part of our hiring process.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent professional experience.
At least three (3) years of experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with direct focus on: Large-scale system data migration and transformation, including data mapping, ETL processes, and data quality validation
Gap analysis and impact assessment
Customer-facing requirements elicitation and definition
Authoring business rules, use cases, and documentation of data flows or data streams
Data models, data diagrams, relational data structures, and SQL
Real-time, near real-time, scheduled, and event-driven system integrations
Digital document management, identification, retention and data transfer processes
Excellent communication, prioritization, self-management, coordination, and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience analyzing, developing, and presenting data-driven solutions to business problems

Nice To Haves

Experience working with healthcare or human services information systems.
Experience with at least two of the following system types: Document Management Systems, Financial Systems, Infrastructure or Platform Support Systems, Management Reporting or Analytics Systems, Procurement Systems, Project, Program, or Portfolio Management Systems
Experience supporting initiatives delivered using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid SDLC methodologies.
Solid understanding of current and emerging IT products, services, processes, and methodologies, along with business functions and operational workflows
Experience using one or more commercial or open-source data migration tools

Responsibilities

Facilitate elicitation sessions with diverse stakeholder groups to gather, analyze, and document data migration and integration requirements.
Develop, maintain, and review source-to-target data mapping documentation across systems and environments according with customer-defined standards and templates.
Support and coordinate data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), reconciliation, and validation processes.
Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify data quality issues, patterns, trends, and transformation requirements.
Perform detailed data validation and testing, including development of test plans, test cases, and reconciliation of source and target system data.
Create and deliver post-migration and post-integration reports to confirm data completeness, accuracy, and success metrics for each migration or integration cycle.
Design, document, and support real-time (API-based or event-driven) and batch-based (scheduled or ETL) integration workflows.
Document integration logic, data flows, business rules, and test results to support the SDLC, operational readiness and compliance or audit requirements.
Support customer user acceptance testing (UAT) by assisting with validation of migrated and integrated datasets.
Work cross-functionally with developers, data architects, quality analysts, and business owners to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
Communicate requirements development and management processes clearly to project teams and stakeholders.
Use development, planning, and execution tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) to manage the lifecycle of data-related requirements and deliverables.
Conduct quality review walkthroughs of data migration and integration documentation and associated test results.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define appropriate data-driven solutions to business needs.
Elicit and document existing current-state and future-state business models and data-related workflows in collaboration with customer subject matter experts.
Deliver clear and well-organized presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide client consultation and support on data and integration-related IT topics and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide post-implementation support to validate outcomes and resolve data-related issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
