Ripple Effect Strategies is a Democratic fundraising firm dedicated to crafting compelling, results-driven messaging that helps our clients raise the money they need to achieve their goals. We are seeking a skilled Data Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for helping Democrats win, experience in data or computer science, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Requirements
- A four year degree in computer science, data science, statistics or a comparable field
- Experience with SQL and Python programming languages
- Experience with GCP/GCS
- Experience with Google BigQuery or similar data platforms
- Experience with dbt
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Democratic or left-leaning political campaigns/organizations
- Programming languages such as C++
- Startup environments
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and cleaning existing relational databases
- Handling pipelines between multiple data sources
- Streamlining data cleaning/collection between sources
- Permissions and IAM handling
- Communicating updates to internal data projects during company-wide meetings
- Working with the data team to develop SOPs and other documentation
- Other responsibilities as assigned
