About The Position

Senior Manager, Data Architecture to lead enterprise data architecture strategy within our Fraud domain, driving the design and governance of data frameworks that power Citi's global analytics and AI capabilities. In this role, you will manage a team of data architecture analysts and shape the information architecture underpinning Citi's Enterprise Analytics Platform — a large-scale big data environment supporting critical financial services operations. This is a high-impact leadership position where your decisions directly influence data quality, accessibility, and reliability across the organization.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in banking or financial services, with demonstrated expertise in data architecture, enterprise information management, or a closely related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of the fraud domain, including familiarity with agent architectures and the application of AI and machine learning in fraud detection and prevention.
• Proven ability to design and deliver enterprise-scale data architecture solutions, including conceptual and logical data models, data flows, and governance frameworks.
• Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and managing delivery across multiple teams or organizational counterparts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and facilitate decision-making across complex, matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field such as Information Management, Computer Science, or Business.
• Hands-on experience with big data platforms and enterprise analytics environments at scale.
• Familiarity with AI and agentic system design principles as applied to data architecture in financial services contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and governance of Citi's enterprise information architecture framework, with a focus on improving data availability, accessibility, quality, and reliability across functions.
• Own the development of information architecture principles and standards for Citi's Enterprise Analytics Platform, ensuring alignment with fraud domain requirements and AI-driven use cases.
• Define and maintain enterprise information management artefacts including business architecture models, conceptual and logical data models, data flows, data standards, adoption strategies, and data remediation recommendations.
• Architect high-level business data solutions that accelerate application design, improve data quality and interoperability, and maximize the use of shared services and assets.
• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to translate complex data needs into detailed business requirements, identifying cross-functional data patterns and scalable architectural solutions.
• Manage and develop a team of data architecture analysts, overseeing performance, resource planning, and professional growth in line with functional objectives.
• Assess data-related business decisions for risk and control implications, ensuring that architectural recommendations uphold compliance standards and protect the integrity of Citi's data assets.
