About The Position

Join a fast-growing, fully remote team at the forefront of healthcare data innovation. As a Data Architect specializing in Snowflake and healthcare provider claims analytics, you will play a critical role in accelerating the delivery of next-generation Population Health data products. This position offers the opportunity to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for claims analytics and Population Health, helping scale impactful solutions in Risk Adjustment, Value-Based Care, and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Senior/Architect-level data engineering experience.
• Deep provider-side healthcare claims analytics expertise.
• Strong understanding of Population Health, Risk Adjustment, Risk Capture, Quality Measures (HEDIS, Stars), Cost & Utilization Analytics, and Value-Based Care programs.
• Proven experience designing and building solutions in Snowflake.
• Advanced dbt skills, including reusable models, testing frameworks, data transformations, and pipelines.
• Robust data modeling background.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Milliman MedInsight, especially the Transport Database.
• Familiarity with Milliman data structures, claims models, and Population Health use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Population Health data products leveraging Snowflake, dbt, and provider claims data.
• Develop scalable solutions utilizing the Milliman MedInsight Transport Database to support risk contracts, outcomes measurement, and care gap identification.
• Model and transform complex healthcare data to enable advanced analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and product teams to translate business needs into robust, scalable data architectures.
• Lead as the healthcare provider claims SME, establishing best practices and elevating organizational expertise.
• Enable performance improvement by building population cohorts and supporting Quality Measures (HEDIS, Stars) and Cost & Utilization Analytics.
