About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect with extensive experience in data domains, specifically focusing on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in designing, building, and configuring applications, acting as the primary point of contact for Snowflake architecture. This role requires a clear understanding of Snowflake's advanced concepts and architecture, including performance tuning, compute and storage, and extensive SQL query writing and tuning. Experience with data virtualization tools and the Hadoop ecosystem is also essential.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in the data domain.
• 3-5 years of experience leading Snowflake efforts.
• Snowflake Architecture experience.
• Clear understanding of Snowflake's advanced concepts (data sharing, data clean rooms, virtual warehouses, query performance using micro partitions and pruning, zero copy clone, time travel, resource monitors, security control methods).
• In-depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture (Snow SQL, Performance tuning, Compute and Storage).
• Extensive experience writing and tuning SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience in data virtualization tools like Starburst, Denodo.
• Experience in Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience in building data lake on Cloudera Data Platform.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure applications using Snowflake.

• Design and architect Snowflake projects.
• Write and tune SQL queries extensively.
• Utilize data virtualization tools like Starburst or Denodo.
