About The Position

We’re seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of data solutions that power our Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and enterprise database environments. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet both technical and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years of related progressive experience with database management, optimization, backup and recovery.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role providing database solution recommendations.
• 1 year of experience with data clean up and preparation for AI or ML.
• Hands on experience with Azure Data Factory/Fabric, App Insights, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Cosmos DB, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
• Hands on experience in database design, including permissions, triggers, stored procedures, indexing, security, log shipping or replication, data integration and data transformation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Manager, Data Science to partner with various business verticals to define analytical needs and to identify the relevant data to build models for BI, AI and ML provided inferences.
• Design, develop, test, document, and implement scripts to automate data importing, exporting, reporting, and analysis to ensure data availability and integrity to support the digital efforts including AI/ML.
• Research and evaluate technologies to support data needs for AI and ML solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand the Corporate One database architecture. Apply innovation and creative thinking to identify new potential database tools and technologies for the Corporate One database architecture that will improve services to the organization and/or its customers.
• Work closely with Corporate One teams to curate and prepare data for training the AI/ML models. Provide guidance on appropriate algorithms and to maximize the transaction costs to the AI/ML data interfaces.
• Proactively keep up with the new and trending technologies related to AI, ML, Data Lakes and databases.
• Support Software Engineers to create and provide API to the created BI, AI or ML.
