C2 Mission Systems Data Architect

Booz Allen HamiltonNellis Air Force Base, NV
$99,000 - $225,000

About The Position

As a data architect on our battle management team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for defining how mission data is modeled, governed, and moved across next-generation Command & Control (C2) systems — turning sensor feeds, mission systems, and enterprise stores into a coherent, interoperable data foundation that operators and analysts can trust. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like AWS and data fabric and data mesh to model from concept to physical implementation, designing the data fabric/mesh that connects mission systems, establishing master data management and governance, and setting the data strategy that ties it all together. You'll architect on the cloud (AWS) and align to DoDAF and interoperability standard. You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. With your motivation to establish processes and facilitate technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on the warfighters.
