About The Position

Centric Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Architect Sr to provide hands-on technical leadership for modern cloud and AI-enabled solutions. This role will work closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and development resources to improve solution design, code quality, delivery consistency, and technical governance across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering depth with a consulting mindset. They can guide architecture discussions, lead code reviews, translate business objectives into practical technical direction, and constructively challenge delivery teams while maintaining collaborative relationships.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years leading development teams or serving in a technical lead capacity.
Experience leading enterprise application development initiatives.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
Experience performing formal code reviews and establishing development standards.
Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and senior technology leaders.
Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Exposure to generative AI or AI-enabled software solutions.
Experience evaluating AI architectures for performance, scalability, and cost.
Knowledge of cloud-based data processing and document automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across multiple development initiatives and client workstreams.
Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards, quality controls, and development best practices.
Guide solution architecture and design discussions for cloud-based applications.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business goals into practical technical solutions.
Collaborate with architects, developers, project leadership, and client stakeholders to improve delivery quality and consistency.
Evaluate application architectures and recommend improvements for scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
Mentor development teams and provide hands-on technical guidance when needed.
Support AI-enabled solution initiatives and help teams integrate emerging technologies appropriately within enterprise architectures.
Participate in technical planning, estimation, risk identification, and solution governance.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
