As a data architect on our national security team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for big data analytics. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development. In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like Closure, Scala, Python, and R to design databases and applications. You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. Requirements

10+ years of experience in data analytics
5+ years of experience working closely with business and IT groups to coordinate current and future plans and activities, including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific data
5+ years of experience applying comprehensive knowledge across multiple fields, key tasks components, and high impact assignments
5+ years of experience developing plans and leading major advisory assignments that include data analytics with machine learning and artificial intelligence
Knowledge of an analytical or statistical language such as Closure, Scala, Python, or R
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering

Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics

Responsibilities

Lead the design of data architecture solutions for big data analytics.
