About The Position

We are seeking a senior leader to lead and grow our Databricks and Data Modernization capability within the North America Data, with accountability for client delivery, executive advisory, practice growth, talent development, and market leadership. This role will help shape the future of NTT DATA's Databricks strategy, support enterprise data transformation initiatives, strengthen strategic technology partnerships, and expand our ability to deliver business outcomes through modern data, analytics, and AI platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in enterprise data platforms and modernization with proven experience building high-performing teams, developing consulting capabilities, growing business portfolios, and serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional services, consulting, technology services, or industry leadership experience.
  • 10+ years leading enterprise Data analytics, data platform, or modernization programs.
  • Deep expertise in Databricks and modern enterprise data architecture.
  • Experience leading data modernization, cloud migration, enterprise data platform, data Lakehouse, or analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing senior architects, technical leaders, and consulting teams.
  • Proven experience building and growing consulting practices, Centers of Excellence, or business capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale client relationships and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting business development, solution strategy, and complex opportunity pursuits.
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience establishing or leading Databricks Centers of Excellence or similar strategic capabilities.
  • Experience managing or influencing business portfolios exceeding $50M annually.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data warehouse modernization, lakehouse architectures, data engineering, AI, machine learning, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, or other ecosystem partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams and develop future leaders in high-growth environments.
  • Experience leading large, multi-workstream transformation programs across industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, or Consumer Goods.
  • Strong understanding of delivery economics, utilization, forecasting, workforce planning, and practice operations.
  • Experience balancing delivery leadership, client engagement, and market-facing growth responsibilities.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Databricks and Data Modernization capability within the Data Practice, ensuring strong client outcomes, delivery excellence, financial performance, and business growth.
  • Serve as an executive advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders on enterprise data strategy, modernization, AI readiness, cloud transformation, and analytics initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and architectural oversight for large-scale enterprise data platforms, data warehouse modernization, lakehouse, and analytics transformation engagements.
  • Partner closely with Go-To-Market leaders to shape offerings, develop growth strategies, support strategic pursuits, and expand market presence.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of architects, consultants, and future practice leaders.
  • Establish best practices, reference architectures, reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery standards across Databricks and modern data platform initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of modern data architectures leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, and related ecosystem technologies.
  • Support strategic technology alliances and maintain awareness of partner roadmaps and emerging capabilities.
  • Own workforce planning and talent growth to support increasing market demand and practice expansion.
  • Serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic client engagements and transformation programs.
  • Collaborate across Consulting, Applications, Cloud, Data, AI, and Industry teams to deliver integrated business transformation outcomes.
  • Contribute to business portfolio growth through executive relationship development, account expansion, solution shaping, and opportunity creation.
