About The Position

The Data and Reporting Specialist is a key member of Pathways’ administrative team, responsible for supporting data collection, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance and improvement across all programs. This position requires a self-driven, meticulous, and detail-oriented professional who can balance technical accuracy with strategic insight. The specialist will collaborate closely with the Administrative Director to monitor and optimize program performance, ensure appropriate fund utilization, prepare thorough grant reports, track outcomes, and develop efficient data systems and processes. The position is supervised by the Administrative Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, social sciences, public administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, grants management, or program evaluation (experience in a nonprofit or human services setting preferred).
  • Strong proficiency with data management tools and software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, HMIS, or similar databases)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Support data management systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile and analyze program data to inform decision-making, improve performance, and demonstrate outcomes.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for internal use, funders, and partners.
  • Support program staff in maintaining data integrity and understanding reporting requirements.
  • Lead or assist in quality assurance and improvement activities, including developing tools and processes to monitor progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Director and program leadership to identify trends, enhance systems, and optimize program effectiveness.
  • Support teams statewide to learn, access, and utilize Pathways platforms and systems
  • Other duties as assigned
