About The Position

The Computational Memory Lab is hiring a Data and Programming Specialist. The selected candidate will develop new software tools for cutting-edge research on the neural basis of human memory and decision making. The successful candidate will analyze large multivariate datasets on human memory, economic choice behavior, and electrophysiology, intracranial EEG data from human participants, and program experiments in Python. Other responsibilities include: general lab systems administration, including website, file server, and computer cluster; using computer systems to run analyses of data collected, as well as simulations of memory and decision processes in computer models (data analysis and simulations are done in Python).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 0-1 years of experience.
  • Expertise in Python programming.
  • Excellence in technical coursework.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Unity is a plus but is not required.
  • Computer Science (or related field) Major
