About The Position

The Partnership for Lead-Free Futures (PLF) requires strengthened data collection and analysis to support strategic resource mobilization and coordination, improved visibility of country-level activities and financing flows, and annual reporting on progress against the PLF framework and indicators. PLF seeks a Data & Analytics Consultant to provide technical support for targeted data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting-related analytics, ensuring timely, high-quality datasets and analytical products that inform decision making, advocacy, accountability, and Secretariat-led reporting processes. The objective of this consultancy is to design and implement a streamlined and fit-for-purpose data cycle that maps PLF-relevant country projects and financial flows; produces periodic, decision-ready analytical products to support coordination and resource mobilization efforts; and provides technical support to the PLF Annual Report process through indicator tracking, data collection and validation, analysis, visualizations, and the compilation of reporting inputs for Secretariat-led reporting products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, Information/Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in data management, monitoring and evaluation, research, analytics, knowledge management, or related fields within global health, environmental health, international development, or humanitarian contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-country programmes, partnerships, or initiatives in global health, environmental health, international development, humanitarian, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience managing large and complex datasets and producing high-quality analytical outputs, reports, and evidence products for decision-making.
  • Experience designing and implementing data collection methodologies, tools, templates, surveys, and reporting systems.
  • Experience coordinating partner reporting processes and ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness across multiple countries or organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights, visualizations, dashboards, and analytical products for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivery consultancy assignments or technical support services within agreed timeline and quality standards.
  • Strong experience in multi country data collection, analysis, and synthesis in global health, environmental health, or development contexts.
  • Experience working with multi‑country datasets and partner reporting processes.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, decision‑ready analytical products, including simple visuals.
  • Strong database management skills, including experience in organizing, cleaning, validating, integrating, and maintaining large multi-country datasets from multiple sources.
  • Experience analyzing financial data and funding flows, including tracking who is funding what, validating and mapping funding information, creating visualization and comparison and interpreting data to identify funding trends, gaps, concentrations and opportunities.
  • Experience designing and managing end-to-end data collection processes, including tool rollout, tracking, and follow-up across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience developing practical data collection tools (e.g. surveys, templates, dashboards) and accompanying guidance for non-technical users.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver against tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and sensitivity in engaging partners at different levels.
  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Experience working with UN agencies, multilateral organizations, global partnerships, or international NGOs.
  • Experience supporting annual reporting processes, results frameworks, indicator reporting, or donor reporting requirements.
  • Experience in environmental health, climate and health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), air pollution, child health, or related thematic areas.
  • Experience supporting skills mapping, partner landscape analyses, financial flow analyses, or project mapping exercises.
  • Experience working with countries, government counterparts, academic institutions, and civil society partners across diverse geographic regions.
