About The Position

The Global PCG Data and Analytics Team is looking for a new Data and Analytics Associate with a passion for data visualization and interest in starting a career in business intelligence. This role involves learning new technologies to unleash new capabilities via FI's Data Modernization program. As Data and Analytics Associate, you will report to the Data and Analytics Group Manager to shape the reporting strategy and build business intelligence dashboards to monitor key performance goals. You will learn new analysis techniques to tackle complex problems using data to improve understanding of present and future needs. The position also requires looking past the numbers to tell a compelling story to business leaders so they understand the business landscape, working directly with senior leaders to help them use insights to guide their decisions. The first year in the role will include learning the current global PCG reporting suite to contribute to new dashboard development using Atlas, FI's new enterprise data warehouse.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and desire to develop or improve project management and presentation skills
  • Have a desire to learn the following software packages: MS SQL Server, MS Power BI, MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and R
  • Have a passion for solving complex problems through data
  • Enjoy the challenge of translating complex problems into technical specifications

Responsibilities

  • Partner across groups throughout the business on defining and reporting key performance metrics and insights to increase success in setting and achieving goals
  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and analyses for senior managers and executive stakeholders across the Firm and communicate functionality, usability, and limitations to help make data driven decisions
  • Work in an Agile environment on a scrum team with team members, other data teams, senior managers, and IT
  • Leverage new tools in our tech stack to modernize our data environment and unleash new capabilities
