About The Position

As a Data and AI Consultant within Google Cloud’s Professional Services Organization, you will lead technical delivery and serve as a trusted advisor to customers undertaking digital transformation. You will architect and build scalable, secure, production-ready data and AI solutions, including data platforms, generative AI applications, agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, and cognitive architectures. The role calls for expertise in data architecture, software engineering, and modern generative AI frameworks. You will help customers build data-to-AI ecosystems for enterprise analytics and advanced AI use cases, while balancing business needs with technical constraints. You will advise stakeholders, lead technical scoping and prototyping, and mentor engineering teams. The posting also describes a Technical Solutions Consultant role responsible for technical relationships with major advertising clients and product partners. That work involves coordinating with Engineering, Sales, and Product Management; developing solutions and tools; and overseeing technical execution and business operations. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 5 years of customer-facing experience as a Solutions Architect, Solution Engineer, or Software Engineer in a professional services or consulting environment.
Experience building and managing data platforms, such as warehouses, lakes, and streaming pipelines, on Google Cloud or another cloud provider.
Experience developing generative AI solutions, including work with LLMs, API integrations, and RAG architectures.
Experience building and deploying production-grade full-stack applications with Python or Node.js backends and React or Angular frontends, as well as cloud-native solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Terraform, containers such as Docker, GKE, and Cloud Run, and agent evaluation or tracing.
Expertise designing autonomous multi-agent frameworks, cognitive workflows, and orchestrators such as Vertex AI Agent Builder and Gemini Enterprise.
Proficiency with Google Cloud data and AI services, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Spanner, Firestore, and Vector Search.
Proven stakeholder management, advising C-level leaders, facilitating architecture workshops, and driving client enablement.
A track record of leading delivery teams, architecting enterprise software, and executing cloud modernizations.

Responsibilities

Architect enterprise-scale, production-ready Data-to-AI platforms, RAG pipelines, semantic knowledge graphs, and vector databases using Vertex AI Vector Search.
Lead end-to-end implementation of Google Cloud data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and AlloyDB, including high-throughput batch and streaming pipelines and query-performance optimization.
Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent coordination systems using the Vertex AI Agent Ecosystem, Reasoning Engine, and Gemini models.
Implement agentic reasoning loops, memory systems, tool and API integrations, and AgentOps frameworks for monitoring, tracing, evaluation, fine-tuning, latency optimization, cost control, and safety compliance.
Advise executive stakeholders on generative AI transformation.
Lead technical scoping and rapid prototyping workshops.
Mentor engineering teams in modern Google Cloud data and AI system architectures.
Lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to apply emerging technologies for external clients and partners.
Oversee technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
Develop innovative solutions, build tools, automate products, contribute to product strategy, and prioritize projects and resources.
