The Data Analytics (multiple openings) position is integral in enabling more positive customer experiences across all channels. This role works closely with BI team members and various other teams within Elavon to govern and maintain a unified data set, broadcasted to the entire enterprise. Analyze business process requirements and generate BI reports. This position helps the business lines create an understanding of Master Data, and the need for governing data by developing a collaborative message and approach. Specific duties include: (1) support all the data elements needed to communicate to our customers; (2) champion the customer communications data migration into our Master Data Management platform; (3) responsible for driving the stewardship of the underlying data that drives customer communication; (4) gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform analysis, interpret trends or patterns and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company; (5) work with SQL and its variation among popular databases, optimize large, complicated SQL queries, and work with relational databases to collect, extract, validate, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis; (6) develop executive-level reports and dashboards, deliver customized analytical insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making; (7) coordinate and manage Master Data across multiple business lines to ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to data quality standards; (8) work with DAX, Python, as well as Tableau and Power BI; (9) work with Azure Cloud Platform, including real-time data integration, deploy pipelines, operate and optimize Microsoft Azure SQL environments that support critical business applications and analytics; and (10) use PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM for deployment and maintenance in Azure. provision, modify, and decommission Azure Subscriptions, Resources and Resource groups; maintain groups and roles in Azure using Azure Active Directory.

Requirements

• This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Statistics and 3 years of experience working with SQL queries.
• In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Statistics and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working with SQL queries.
• Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) working with SQL and its variation among popular databases, optimizing large, complicated SQL queries, and working with relational databases to collect, extract, validate, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis; (2) developing executive-level reports and dashboards, delivering customized analytical insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making; (3) coordinating and managing Master Data across multiple business lines to ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to data quality standards; (4) working with DAX, Python, as well as Tableau and Power BI; (5) working with Azure Cloud Platform, including real-time data integration, deploying pipelines, operating and optimizing Microsoft Azure SQL environments that support critical business applications and analytics; and (6) using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM for deployment and maintenance in Azure. provisioning, modifying and decommissioning Azure Subscriptions, Resources and Resource groups; maintaining groups and roles in Azure using Azure Active Directory.
