About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location. Duties include conducting strategic data analysis, identifying insights and implications, making strategic recommendations, and developing data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis. The role involves analyzing data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality, delivering analytics initiatives to address business problems, and consulting with business clients to identify system functional specifications. The analyst will apply a comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute toward achieving business goals, consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues, and perform the system change process from requirements through implementation. Additionally, the role provides user and operational support of applications to business users, formulates and defines system scope and objectives for complex projects, and considers the business implications of technology application. The analyst will also assist communication between business leaders and IT, exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills, and appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and analytical reports.
• Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and developing regulatory, operational, and business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards for consumer banking; Conducting enterprise-level analytics using tools including IBM Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, and OBIEE; Creating and maintaining data reconciliation and simulation frameworks tailored to consumer banking wealth management, ensuring data accuracy and compliance; Automating BI reporting and end-user computing (EUC) processes using EUC management tools, Shell scripting, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes) to enhance scalability and operational efficiency; Engineering advanced cloud-based analytics solutions by applying predictive, prescriptive, descriptive, and real-time analytics, and leveraging machine learning algorithms (Regression, Clustering, and Gradient Boosting) and AI-driven insights using advanced Python libraries; and Building and deploying APIs to provide Query as a Service functionality for financial services and consumer banking applications, utilizing programming languages including Python, Java, and SQL.
• In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience.
• Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience.
