Data Analytics Instructor
About The Position

We equip learners with the skills and confidence to embrace the future of work, leveraging intelligent, ethical, and creative technology applications. We are seeking a full-time Data Apprenticeship Instructor to deliver our Data Analytics and Business Analytics workshops for Level 4 Data Analyst and Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship programs. Workshops are typically delivered between 09:00 - 17:00 GMT, lasting 3.5 to 4.5 hours, with less frequent 8-hour hackathons. Occasional work outside core UK hours may be required due to our global client base.
Requirements
- Over 2 years of experience teaching data analytics, data science, computer science, software engineering, or similar in a school, university, or higher-level setting.
- Confident coding in Python.
- Excellent and adaptable communicator, verbally and in writing.
- Self-motivated and a problem solver who takes initiative.
- Passionate about technology and learning.
- Team player eager to improve programs and contribute to overall morale.
- Keen to learn, improve, and stretch own knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
- Consistently reliable WiFi for workshop delivery if working remotely.

- Familiarity or experience with Data Science concepts and tools.
Responsibilities
- Teach learning content to groups of apprenticeship learners via virtual workshops.
- Hone skills as an educator and build knowledge of andragogy and teaching theory.
- Work with Learner Success Coaches (LSCs) to ensure learner progress.
- Contribute to product improvement and content development.
- Comprehensively understand apprenticeship curriculums and learning objectives.
- Review exercises and learning materials before workshops.
- Learn about learners and their businesses.
- Familiarize with course structure and content, proactively filling knowledge gaps.
- Maintain a continual learning mindset and advance knowledge in specialist domains.
- Manage facilitation skills, including timekeeping, classroom management, and maintaining a professional and energetic atmosphere.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using Zoom/Teams, Mural, Menti, and other key tools.
- Decode and communicate complex concepts and principles with energy, focus, and patience.
- Engage and captivate virtual audiences of busy professionals.
- Facilitate the learning journey inclusively, ensuring no one is left behind while also providing stimulation for advanced learners.
- Enable an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful learning environment.
- Provide SME input and peer review for training program development projects.
- Produce materials to support learners with stretch needs and instructions for technical content.
