About The Position

GHD is seeking an Executive Advisor to shape, win, and lead major Data, Analytics & Insights client engagements, develop repeatable offerings, and build high-performing teams aligned with client demand and GHD’s engineering strengths. The role emphasizes data strategy, data management, and information-driven transformation, helping clients unlock value from data in complex infrastructure environments.

The Executive Advisor will lead work winning and executive-level delivery, advise senior stakeholders, shape data-driven transformation programs, and establish strong data management practices. The role also involves building repeatable offerings aligned to GHD’s core engineering services and setting the commercial and delivery rhythm needed for sustainable growth. The position supports innovative data-led solutions across infrastructure sectors and offers varied project work within a collaborative team.

This role follows a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office. Preferred offices include Houston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, and Rosemont.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data strategy and enterprise data management.
• Strong track record in data-driven transformation, including governance, architecture, and analytics.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and convert relationships into work.
• Ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts clearly at senior levels.
• Ability to oversee high-quality reports, dashboards, and strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Position GHD as a trusted advisor for data strategy, data governance, and digital transformation in infrastructure.
• Lead discussions on how data is structured, governed, and leveraged to improve outcomes.
• Translate complex data, technical, and commercial concepts into clear executive decisions.
• Shape opportunities in data strategy, data management, and analytics transformation across priority sectors.
• Develop and scale offerings spanning data governance, architecture, and information management.
• Align market demand with GHD’s engineering and advisory capabilities.
• Lead large-scale engagements covering data strategy, data architecture, and data management frameworks.
• Define end-to-end solutions, from data foundations and integration through analytics and AI.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and aligned with client operating models.
• Build and scale teams with strengths in data strategy, governance, and enterprise data management.
• Mentor teams on best practices across the data lifecycle, quality, and controls.
• Strengthen GHD’s data-led advisory capability.
• Oversee high-quality deliverables, including reports, dashboards, and strategic roadmaps.
