About The Position

The Data Analytics & Impact Reporting Specialist is the primary architect of BVMI’s data narrative. This role is responsible for transforming complex clinical and operational data into compelling impact reports, white papers, and analytical articles. Serving as the sole technical lead for BVMI’s data infrastructure (Alteryx, Athenahealth, Snowflake, and Tableau), this role provides the evidence-based foundation for BVMI’s thought leadership and strategic storytelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and ETL concepts required.
  • Proven experience in impact assessment and performance metrics reporting within the nonprofit or healthcare sector.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear visual summaries and actionable recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Alteryx, Athenahealth, and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data connections, administration, and optimization across Alteryx, Athenahealth, Snowflake, and Tableau.
  • Maintain and update existing ETL workflows to transform and prepare data for analysis.
  • Build select dashboards for operational efficiency and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure reporting reliability.
  • Conduct targeted analyses on patient demographics, social determinants of health, and clinical outcomes to demonstrate organizational impact.
  • Prepare data submissions for national recognition programs (e.g., American Heart Association, Road to Health Equity, NAFC).
  • Track and report key patient volume and healthcare trends to inform leadership.
  • Create high-impact visual summaries and infographics translating clinical outcomes into digestible insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Lead data collection and provide core analytics for BVMI’s Impact Reports and strategic publications.
  • Maintain frameworks to compare BVMI’s outcomes against national health equity standards.
  • Serve as the data partner for Development and Clinical teams, providing validated metrics for donor stewardship.
  • Maintain updated data profiles on charity watchdog and transparency platforms.
