About The Position

Toll Brothers is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer for its Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The position is part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team and reports to the Director, Data Strategy and Development. The engineer builds and maintains pipelines, models, and data products that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making across the company, using a cloud data ecosystem that includes Fivetran, Coalesce, and Snowflake. The role works with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, and other business units to turn business needs into technical solutions. Deliverables may include curated data models, interactive applications built with Streamlit or React, and AI-powered features that make governed enterprise data more accessible and useful. The role is based in the office three days per week; additional in-office days may vary by division or department.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a comparable data role.
Strong SQL skills.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
Experience building and maintaining ELT pipelines with a managed ingestion tool such as Fivetran.
Experience with a modern transformation framework such as Coalesce Transform or dbt.
Demonstrated experience gathering reporting requirements directly from business stakeholders and delivering data solutions that meet business needs.
Working knowledge of Python for data transformation, automation, and scripting.
Experience using REST APIs to source and deliver data.
Experience with version control and code review practices in a team setting.
Ability to work in the office three days per week; additional in-office days may vary by division or department.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Coalesce Transform and Coalesce Catalog.
Experience building data applications in Streamlit.
Front-end development experience with React.
Demonstrated ability to apply AI or large language model tools to data engineering, data quality, or analytics use cases.
Experience with data governance, cataloging, and lineage practices in an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with homebuilding, real estate, and construction.
Exposure to BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Fivetran ingestion pipelines that reliably and on schedule load source data into Snowflake.
Develop custom Python and API-based integrations for source systems not supported by managed connectors.
Develop and maintain Coalesce Transform models using dimensional and layered modeling patterns for reporting and analytics.
Document data assets, definitions, and lineage in Coalesce Catalog.
Design and tune Snowflake objects, including warehouses, roles, and storage patterns, for performance and cost efficiency.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data models and metric definitions.
Build Streamlit and React data applications that provide business users with analytics and workflow tools.
Apply AI and large language model capabilities to accelerate development, improve data quality checks, and enable natural-language access to governed data.
Establish and enforce data quality testing, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines and models.
Partner with analysts and BI developers to ensure dashboards use certified, well-modeled data.
Contribute to data governance, security, and access-control practices with the broader Technology Organization.
Troubleshoot pipeline and data issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
