About The Position

Sailor Health is building a new care model for aging, combining behavioral health, healthcare advocacy, wellness hub, and AI care agents into one virtual platform designed for older adults. AI coaches help patients navigate their health between visits, while AI copilots give providers the tools to deliver higher-quality, better-informed care. They partner with Medicare to make their platform affordable and accessible to older adults nationwide. Requirements

Live in NYC and energized by in-person work
3-10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics
Fluent in SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake
Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and unstructured data (e.g., transcripts, FHIR format)
High EQ and can communicate clearly with non-technical teammates
Move fast, set a high bar, and care deeply about improving mental health for older adults

Responsibilities

Create data-powered web apps to solve tangible business problems
Build pipelines in Snowflake and dbt that unify data from EHR, CRM, and communication systems
Develop AI and ML-driven analyses of therapy transcripts and patient data
Automate backend operations with Python scripts that power clinical and billing workflows
Track and visualize clinical outcomes (PHQ-9, GAD-7, etc.)
Collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians and founders to turn data into action
Build long-term horizon data architectures and solutions that grow as our user base and internal teams grow
